More information about this Rotosound
More information about this Rotosound
The Rotosound SM66N from the iconic Swing Bass 66 series is a nickel-wound roundwound string set with a hybrid gauge of .040 to .100. This set offers a perfect balance of brightness, smooth playability, and powerful response, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles. The nickel winding provides a slightly warmer and softer tone than stainless steel, without sacrificing definition.
Since 1962, the Swing Bass series has been a standard in the bass world. Thanks to a combination of unique nickel steel and a secret production process, this string has defined the sound of generations of bassists. Big names like Billy Sheehan , John Paul Jones, and Geddy Lee owe their sound to these legendary strings.
