More information about this Ernie Ball
More information about this Ernie Ball
The Ernie Ball 2628 electric guitar strings are specifically designed for 9-string guitarists who require maximum tonal variety, definition, and control across the entire frequency range of their instrument. With an extended gauge range of .009 to .105 inches, this set offers smooth playability in the upper strings and an extremely powerful, tightly tensioned lower string for deep tones and alternate tunings. Perfect for modern styles like djent, progressive metal, and experimental genres.
Made of high-quality nickel steel, these strings deliver a bright, dynamic tone with excellent tonal stability and long life. The thicker bass strings provide tightness and definition in low tunings, while the lightweight top allows for comfortable lead and solo playing. The Ernie Ball 2628 is the ideal choice for guitarists who want to get the most out of their 9-string guitar – both in terms of range and tone quality.
