More information about this Elixir
The Elixir 12062 is an 8-string electric guitar string set in the Light version (010-074), specially designed for extended-range guitarists seeking clarity and balance across the entire tonal range. Thanks to the NANOWEB® coating, the strings continue to sound fresh and powerful for longer, while still feeling like traditional uncoated strings. The coating protects against dirt, sweat, and corrosion, significantly extending their lifespan.
This set offers a smooth playing experience with light-touch high strings and well-controlled low strings that deliver tight, defined tones, even in low tunings. Perfect for progressive metal, djent, and experimental styles where tonal control and definition are essential.
