Corelli CO-702-M violin string A-2 4/4, medium, stabilon, aluminum

The Corelli CO-702-M A-2 for 4/4 violins elevates the A string to a new level. This string is wound around a nylon core and reinforced with STABILON multifilament, designed for optimal elasticity and elongation when bowing. The result is a tone that is naturally warm and rich, without the sharp, nylon-like edge typical of some strings. The aluminum winding creates sparkle and clear projection, allowing both solo playing and orchestral passages to stand out clearly. With this combination, the string offers playing comfort, consistent intonation, and long life, making it suitable for ambitious players who want to advance their tone. Ideal for violinists striving for a classic, balanced tone with sufficient projection for orchestral and chamber music performances. The medium gauge provides a comfortable tension on a 4/4 violin, allowing for smooth bowing and controlled vibrato without excessive strain on the neck. Thanks to Stabilon and the aluminum winding, the string maintains tonal stability across changing temperaments and extended playing sessions, making it ideal for Romantic repertoire, Baroque, and contemporary pieces that combine warmth and clarity. Practical tip: Combine this string with a consistent bowing technique for maximum response and keep the string clean and dry for a long, even tone.
