The Rudolph RC-1012-O half-size cello was specifically designed for young, advanced cellists seeking an instrument with high-quality tone and traditional finishes. This cello is constructed entirely of carefully selected solid European tonewoods, including a spruce top and maple back and sides. The classic reddish-brown oil varnish, applied by hand, gives the instrument an elegant appearance in the style of early 20th-century Mirecourt instruments.
With an ebony fingerboard and pegs, this cello guarantees stability and easy tuning, ideal for intensive use and maintenance. The RC-1012-O delivers a warm, full tone that helps young players further develop their musical expression. This model offers room for technical growth and is an excellent choice for both music school students and ambitious hobbyists.
