The Ernie Ball 2008 Earthwood Rock n Blues is a set of acoustic guitar strings with gauges 010–052. This set features a plain, unwound G-string and 80/20 bronze winding on the other strings with a tin-plated steel hex core. You get a clear sound with rich overtones and a direct response.
The combination of light bass strings and a plain G-string makes bends and solos easier. You play smoothly and have more control during lead work. At the same time, you retain enough body for chords. Suitable if you frequently switch between rhythm and solo playing.
