Description
The VOX VT40X Valvetronix is a 40-watt modeling guitar amplifier that combines digital modeling with a real tube in the preamp. The VET+ technology analyzes individual components of amplifier circuits and accurately mimics their behavior. This allows the VT40X to respond instantly to your picking and volume knob. The redesigned DSP tube balance ensures a smooth transition from clean to crunch and a natural response with light overdrive.
You get 11 amp models, 13 effects, and 33 presets directly from the amplifier. With the VOX Tone Room software, you can expand this to 20 amp models and 60 presets, and further customize and save your sounds. The hybrid power amplifier, closed cabinet, and bass-reflex system provide robust low-end reproduction and good resonance. For control while playing, you can connect the optional VOX VFS5 footswitch.
