Boston JST-2A-HSS vintage body ST model (made in Japan)

The Boston JST-2A-HSS is a high-quality vintage ST body, made in Japan from two-piece alder. This body is milled for an HSS configuration, with room for a humbucker in the bridge position and single coils in the middle and neck positions. Alder has been the standard for many guitar builders since the 1960s due to its balanced tonal character and excellent resonance. The two-piece, center-jointed construction is the most commonly used wood combination for classical electric guitars.

The body is unfinished but sanded smooth, ready for further finishing with only light sanding. The neck recess is precisely milled, so some adjustment may be necessary for a perfect fit. Thanks to the use of natural wood, each body may vary slightly in grain, making each one unique. This body offers an ideal balance between traditional quality and modern versatility.
