The Sela SE 202 is a handmade stainless steel handpan tuned to D Amara at 440 Hz. It allows for intuitive playing because all notes are within one fixed scale. This means your combinations always sound good, and you can create melodies and rhythms immediately, even without experience. The D Amara scale offers a lot of freedom and is suitable for calm, meditative music as well as more rhythmic playing.
The stainless steel body ensures a long sustain and a full, lingering sound. This makes the instrument suitable for slow and relaxed playing. The response to touch is light and direct, requiring less effort. An overview of the notes is located on the underside. You receive a padded bag made of tear-resistant nylon with handles, backpack straps, and an accessory pocket.
