The Sela SE 201 is a handcrafted stainless steel handpan tuned to D Kurd at 440 Hz. You play intuitively because all notes are within one fixed scale. This means combinations always sound good, and you can immediately start creating melodies and rhythms without prior experience. The D minor sound offers great versatility, from calm and meditative pieces to more energetic playing.
The stainless steel construction provides a long sustain and a full sound that lingers beautifully. This makes the handpan suitable for slow and relaxed playing. At the same time, the instrument responds quickly and lightly to your touch, requiring less force. You receive a padded bag made of tear-resistant nylon with handles, backpack straps, and an accessory compartment.
